Don and Maegan Fox

Owners, Don and Maegan have a background in architecture and design, with Don  a qualified Architect and Landscape Architect.

We love being business owners in the Warkworth and surrounding areas, our girls go to Warkworth Primary and we have ties with the local gymnastics and soccer groups. We like to ensure the same quality and attention to detail that has been provided over the last 20 years.

John Homewood

John Homewood is our full time installer, blind cleaning & repair specialist.

"I came to New Zealand with my family in 1957 as 10 pound poms! We settled in Mission Bay Auckland and I went to school in the Eastern Suburbs. When I left school I became a certified bricklayer. My out of work interests include sailing, music, surfing and football. I played for Eastern Suburbs & Mount Wellington in the National League in the '70's. My wife, Christine & I have 1 son & 3 step-children.

I entered the Blind business when a friend I played football with offered me a position. Later, we moved to the Rodney district in 2001 where I started my own business in blind repairs & cleaning, until Dave at Curtain Specialists offered me a position as full-time installer. Blind cleaning & repairs were introduced as a new service for Curtain Specialists."

 

Mel

Mel is our fabric guru in the showroom and assisting Don out on the road.

Honestly, you couldn't find a more helpful person in the curtain business than Mel, come in and see!
